Hope for Youth Back to School Drive

PEO Spectrum purchased hundreds of school supplies to donate to Hope for Youth, a Long Island-based organization founded in 1969. Hope for Youth provides positive change in the lives of children, adolescents and families. They work with children starting with newborns through 21 across Long Island. They provide stable, nurturing residential care, foster care and preventive and out-patient programs. They have six residential facilities and 35 foster homes. Back-to-school time brings the need for school supplies. Our office collected everything from backpacks to notebooks, pens and pencils, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, highlighters and more, and brought them to the Amityville offices of Hope for Youth.
