Compare PEO Reviews
Did you know that 85% of consumers have already done their homework on a given business before they even call them for services? It’s true. How companies are able to sell to the consumer has dramatically changed with the rapid expansion of the Internet over the last 10 years. This makes comparing products and services easier...or does it? When you compare PEO reviews, 700 or more PEOs are currently doing business in the US, where in the world do you try and get through all the information to narrow down your choices?   We thought it would be good to digest for our readers a quick reference on where you can go to compare PEO reviews and what we think of their review accuracy. It’s only fair, after all, to review the reviewer, isn't it?

Where You Can Compare PEO Reviews

There are more than a few sites out there touting themselves as PEO review sites. There are more than a dozen who also promise to furnish PEO comparison reports. Here are 3 ways you can go about getting the information you need to compare PEO reviews:   Internet Search Results -The old stand by, the Google search. Google gets about 3.5 billion searches a day on average so that tells us that an awful lot of people are relying on Google for their information gathering. Heck, Google has a whole product line available for advertising on it so there is obviously a market for searching.   The problem is, with so many results it can be very difficult to take the time to get through all of them. Most people will just stick with the top 5 results. Often you'll find some great info on the next page or even at the bottom of the first page, but it's very likely that you will never see it and that is by design. Companies with big websites, and who have money to spend on Internet advertising are going to be at the top of the list. There could be a great smaller PEO that is perfect for you, but you’ll probably never know about them if you rely just on Internet searches.   PEO Comparison Sites -Open for business are a couple of websites branding themselves as places to go in order to have an honest look at how to compare PEO reviews. Seems very easy at first glance. We tried one. We were faced with a lot of multiple choice questions, and we mean a lot. Some of the questions asked us things we have a hard time knowing if someone would understand what they are being asked. The kind of questions that make you ask yourself, “I don’t know if I need X or not. Should I?” Not very helpful.   We got through the questions and were delivered a 3 PEO recommendation page as a result of answering the questions. The results were based on how closely they matched to the features and benefits questions we answered. That left us wondering though, out of 700 PEOs, how come these 3?   There was another PEO site we found but it quickly turned out to be a model based on PEOs paying to be advertised AKA “recommended” by their site. That is something you definitely have to watch out for with any review site. Lots of times, it is just a pay-to-advertise situation with consumers being sold a bill of goods on the “comparison” piece.   A PEO Broker - If you want clear, concise information on the right options with PEOs that best fit your criteria, then the most efficient way to go is with a PEO broker.
